One of the most impressive shows of the FX Series, in the long run, is the American Horror Story‘s current season. The show has an uncanny habit of throwing everything at the wall to see if it sticks. American Horror Story: 1984 did not feature many of the series’ mainstays, including Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. According to show-runner Ryan Murphy, this issue will be fixed in Season 10.
Murphy teasingly revealed that fans would be seeing many of their beloved characters return in the upcoming season. About the casting process, he said: “We’re working on an idea for season 10 that I think people will love because it’s about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back. Because it might be our last season. It’s the last season we have contracted. So, I’ve been quietly reaching out to various people. Some people I haven’t reached out to yet because I was like ‘Do I have a role for them?’ So far, everybody, I reached out to said ‘Yes,’ so that’s been great.”
According to sources, Season 10 of American Horror Story is going to be the last one to be ordered by FX. It might also be the last one we’ll see. Nevertheless, American Horror Story: 1984 and last year’s American Horror Story: Apocalypse has certainly brought the show back to its best.
Although American Horror Story: Apocalypse is nearly unsurpassable, we would certainly like to see Paulson and Peters make a comeback.
It is hard to say where the 10th Season of the show will take us, given the many different directions the show has already gone since the series’ debut in 2011. But we will be here with updates as soon as we have them! Stay tuned.
