It seems that Joker has now found its way into the White House. Reportedly, a screening of the movie has been held for some “family, friends and staff.” Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker has been played by Joaquin Phoenix. Joker has been very successful and has smashed multiple box office records. It has now officially crossed the $1 billion mark and has been named the biggest R-Rated Film of all time. Todd Phillips took to Instagram to thanks his fans.
It appears that the President of The United States, Donald Trump, wanted to find out what the hype was all about, screened Joker at the White House. According to sources, Trump “liked” the movie.

Joaquin Phoenix plays Arthur Fleck while Brett Cullen stars as Thomas Wayne alongside him. Also, Zazzie Beers as Sophie, Arthur’s neighbour, Frances Conroy as Arthur’s mother, Penny. Donald Trump has been known to have his connections to the big-screen movies. Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises had scenes shot in the Trump Tower. Christian Bale, speaking about meeting Trump while shooting on location, said, “ I think he thought I was Bruce Wayne because I was dressed as Bruce Wayne. So he talked to me like I was Bruce Wayne and I just went along with it, really. It was quite entertaining.”
He’s also been known to be severely critical about movies and had said that Django Unchained “sucked.” Only time will tell what his review of Joker will be.
