The fresh, quirky Netflix sitcom, Merry Happy Whatever is expecting a second season! The show takes place over the week of Christmas at the Quinn household. Emmy has just arrived home from California along with her boyfriend, Matt. Matt wants to ask her out, but before that, he must win over Emmy’s dad, Dennis Quaid.
About The Plot
The plot of the first season of Merry Happy Whatever ends with Matt winning over the entire family and committing to Emmy. Emmy’s sister, Kayla’s marriage is split as she revealed that she is gay. The probable romance between Kayla and her ex-husband’s assistant will be an exciting sub-story to the main plot. There’s also the marriage ceremony planning between the protagonists, Patsy’s pregnancy, Sean’s food truck, and the story of Don and Nancy. There isn’t any shortage of Quinn storylines for an assured future to Merry Happy Whatever, in fact, the scriptwriter Tucker Cawley doesn’t want it to terminate either.
