What’s New In Lucifer Season 5, Release Date On Netflix, Will It Be The Finale Or Not (Spoilers), Cast Details, Plot And Everything You Should Know

Lucifer, the show that was first released in January, 2016 after completing four successful seasons is all set to launch its 5th season in 2020.

The fourth season emerged with great success after it got viewers more than the other show Game of Thrones. After the emotional end of the 4th season of this venture, when there was immediate news that FOX has decided to cancel Lucifer fans started a campaign (#saveLucifer) which finally got a successful end when Netflix ordered the next season.

However, this is great news for Luciferians that the show will be back on the screen but the sad news is that this season will mark the end of the series.

Season 4 ended with Lucifer leaving earth to return back to hell to keep a check on demons and finally stating that, ‘ Who’s da New King of Hell?’ indicating that there was another space of the next season of this series.

However the release date is yet to be announced, assumptions are made that it will be released in the month of April or May of 2020. The season will consist of a grand total of 16 episodes. Star Tom Ellis revealed while talking to the news that the final season will split down into two halves. In the first half, eight episodes will be released and after a break, the last eight episodes will be released.

The show will be featured on Netflix. Netflix in a statement said that “We’re thrilled that Lucifer fans around the world have embraced this series on Netflix, and we can’t wait to give them the big finish they’ve all been waiting for,”

The cast of the show will remain the same including Tom Ellis, Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Kevin Alejandro, D.B Woodside, and Lesley-Ann Brandt.
