Almost everyone spent their Christmas holidays binge watching You season 2. With a different name in a different place, Joe was back with his creepiness. In season 2, Joe’s trying hard to have a fresh start after killing his sweetheart, Beck.

However, by the end of season 2, Joe, aka Will, ended up killing a total of eight people. Love turned out to be just as dark and twisted as Will, and they entered into suburban bliss all set to welcome their baby. Indeed, the finale did reveal ‘The Dark Face Of Love’ as she did not turn out to be as sweet, loving, and forgiving as she seemed at the beginning of the season. Also, ‘The Dark Face Of Love’ was the title of Beck’s book.
Season Three Confirmed
On the 14th of January 2020, Netflix confirmed that You Season 3 is in the making. Check out the tweet!
Season 3 will have a total of ten episodes; Variety reported and will release on Netflix next year. Co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti are expected to return as executive producers. Sera Gamble will also serve as showrunner. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, Sera expressed her enthusiasm as she said: “absolutely it could come back.” She further added, “We hope that a lot of people will watch the show and so that it gets to continue. I will say that we have an idea for season 3 that is SO exciting that people talk about it in the writer’s room every day. My fingers are crossed. I’ll say, I hope we get the chance to keep making the show.”
Cast details haven’t officially been confirmed yet, having said that Gossip Girl’s Penn Badgley is all set to return as creepy serial killer Joe Goldberg aka Will Bettelheim. The Haunting of Hill House actress Victoria Pedretti will also return as sweet on the surface; murderous girlfriend Love Quinn.
