Adult Swim did officially announce that Rick and Morty will possibly be returning in 2020. But we don’t know the exact release date yet. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait very long for the second set of episodes to release as Adult Swim as reassured fans by saying that they can trust them this time.

A huge hint bomb was dropped a few weeks back the voice actor who is voicing Summer Smith dropped a clue. In one of her interviews, Spencer Grammer revealed some potential news about the release date.
“I just recorded 4.10 (final episode) when I was in LA a few weeks ago but, those change a lot. I’ll be going back to do pick-ups probably for some of them and I recorded all of them so far.”
She mentioned that the wait for the next set of episodes will be less than expected. She said that she has already finished recording for next set.
