The showrunner Lauren Hissrich has already announced that the filming for season 2 will begin from February 2020. And this time, the bars have been raised for season 2! Who doesn’t love more action?

As for now, nothing much has been revealed regarding the release date of the series. It seems like it might probably take another couple of months!
What Can We Expect?
It seemed like the plot had everything together during season one, and everyone expected a slightly more straightforward plot for the second season.
Well, guess what? Our showrunner Hissrich revealed that Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri are going to be in the same time frame this time, but we can’t be sure about the three of them to be “happy,” you know?
Hissrich also added, saying that she’s going to add a couple of flashback scenes, including some short stories. But, there’s one thing we know for sure. We’re getting twice of all the action and monster hunting!
