All the Adam Sandler movies ranked from best to worst!

American uncle in the making, with his lavender flower garland and a loud Hawaiian shirt, Adam Sandler is probably the most irritating on-screen actor in the Hollywood industry. With a dossier of films centring only in the one genre he doesn’t seem to do well, Adam Sandler and his stale humour continue to put an audience to sleep in the first few minutes itself. And if you have a proclivity to torture yourself with these boring movies, here’s a list of the five worst Adam Sandler movies, ranked from worst to average. Disclaimer: 50 first dates shall not be included in this list; that movie was cuter than most romantic comedies.

Blended (2014)

While Fifty First Dates was in our top romantic comedy movies to watch when you’re done list, Blended, also a film by Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore doesn’t do it. A story of two single parents, and the shenanigans their children and they go through, Blended is one of Adam Sandler’s movies that is just plain boring. The comedy is too repetitive, and despite being a likeable couple, Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler don’t do the film any favours.

The Do-Over (2016)

A movie purely made for Adam Sandler’s amusement, the Do-Over begins with the faint semblance of a plot and soon dissolves into a 3-hour long torture session for its viewers. While it’s good to see him have fun, with actors he has acted with from his Saturday Night Live days, the movie still is as unamusing as a bark of a dry tree to us, with the story being just as dry too.

Grown Ups (2010)

A lack-lustre comedy, with Adam Sandler and Saturday Night Live buddies, turned actors in their own right, Grown Ups stands as a testament to the number of oversized vacation shirts Adam Sandler owns. A reunion of old college buddies to see off their then-basketball coach, Grown Ups is filled with slapstick comedy and inappropriate jokes, as is with all of his movies.

Jack And Jill (2011)

As I have emphasized before, Adam Sandler and his dad-dressing have kept on torturing us since their inception. However, this movie takes this torment to a whole new level, with Adam Sandler dressing up as Jill, a woman, with the usual lady parts accentuated too much, much to our disgust and irritation. If this wasn’t enough, both of Adam Sandler’s characters in this double role movie are exasperating beyond belief. While one Adam Sandler is taxing enough, two of them are frankly two too much.

The Ridiculous 6 (2015)

The Ridiculous was just as its name suggested: ridiculous and disappointing. That was if there was anything in Adam Sandler’s acting that could disappoint us more. A western comedy, and his debut into the streaming industry, viewers immediately point out the disrespectful portrayal of Native Americans and rightly so.
