BoJack Horseman is one of the most excellent animated television series of all time. It takes place in a setting of LA. The name of the place is “Hollywoo” (without the letter D, which gets stolen). This world is very different from the real world where humans and anthropomorphic animals live together. The series premiered on Netflix in August 2014 and ever since has been a favorite comedy of the fans.

The creators released six outstanding seasons and a bizarre ending of the last one. Many fans are still confused about what exactly happens to BoJack and have to carry a lot of emotional baggage. The show presents the people to a bizarre world filled with broken individuals and how they are still able to maintain the very little optimism left inside of them.

The final season of BoJack Horseman reveals how the helpless and fed up protagonist decides to check into a rehab leaving behind the acting industry. He plans on teaching and bettering society. In spite of the positivity that the show seems to inspire, we are still left with a huge realization.

Decoding the end

The episodes leading towards the end, force the audience to believe that this might be an end of BoJack Horseman. He almost drowns in his swimming pool after a very tragic incident. BoJack’s penultimate entry surely is a sign that everything is happening inside his head, and he might not be dead. The show reveals that BoJack has to face a one-year prison sentence which makes more sense than the death of the character.

The end of life fells as a metaphorical death of major characters and a sign to the audience to prepare for more.  The creators did a great job bringing such an ending into the picture.
