Since the release of Avengers: Endgame, none of us fans of the MCU has been the same. Lives have been lacklustre, and movies even more so. Our lives once intertwined with the original Avengers, and now, after a decade of mesmerising us with their stellar performance and making us truly believe in the power of fictional superheroes, they have left us. Or have they?
The original Avengers began with the Captain. Captain America, a successful result of an experiment to create a superhuman. The best and perfect version of a man. Strong, Brave and most importantly, good. We fell in love with Chris Evans playing the role of Captain America, and till date, he’s our only Captain.
Then came the other OG’s, the one and only Iron Man, played by the bad-boy turned good Robert Downey Junior. The most iconic avenger and the one that had the masses rooting for marvel. Then came Scarlett Johannson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as The Incredible Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and last but not the least, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. The original avengers set the stage for the new ones to come along and they shall forever be the ones to emulate.
In the events of Avengers: Endgame we see the events that lead to the dissipation of the original Avengers; if you still haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame we’d like to warn you, the next part of this article is full of spoilers, so read at your own risk! Iron Man, Tony Stark ends up making the ultimate sacrifice and harnesses the power of the infinity stones to snap his fingers and destroy all of Thanos’s army.
