We are ready to welcome our beloved pirate movie series again. It’s now confirmed that the sixth instalment of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean is under work. Also, with a total collection of over 4.5 billion dollars worldwide, the sixth one is sure to make a great buzz. But the new movie has included a lot of changes. Here are a few of them.
Release Date
Well, Disney decided to release the movie this year itself on box-office. But Disney confirmed that the movie is still in its early stages of making. Now we can expect the movie to release in 2021 somewhere before June.
Cast
Along with Johnny Depp (CAPTAIN Jack Sparrow), the movie franchise previously included Orlando Bloom (Will Turner) and Keira Knightley (Elizabeth Swann). Also, others include Brenton Thwaites (Henry Turner), Kaya Scodlario (Carina Barbossa) and Kevin McNally (Joshamee Gibbs a.k.a Mr. Gibbs).
Plot
Pirates of the Caribbean 6 will be a continuation of the fifth film titled “Dead Men Tell No Tales”. The franchise is releasing the new movie as a reboot. Writer Ted Elliott (has worked before for the franchise ) and “Chernobyl” creator Craig Mazin are hired to develop the story for the new film.
Trailer
Disney is yet to launch any official trailer for this movie. Therefore, to keep the story fresh and new, here is a link to the recap of the story for those who’d refrain from binge-watching it again.
Future of Jack Sparrow!
Well, to be honest, it might be possible that we may not see Depp in the film as confirmed by the newly appointed writers of the series. There have been rumours about him demanding steep payout which led to a rift between the parties. All we can do is hope for the best. All we know is that the franchise will not be the same without him.
