Yes! You read it right. The American Dark fantasy comedy horror film released on July 16, 1993, by Walt Disney Pictures, which the audience and film critics acknowledged with mixed to negative reviews. The film now is all gloomed to release a new sequel after 26 years.
Movie which is currently available on Amazon Prime announced the arrival of it’s its sequel back in 2017. As per sources, the movie is currently under development. Though the movie will be released under Disney banner it’s release date is still not announced by the filmmakers yet.

Directed by Kemy Ortega and produced by David Kirschner and Steven Haft, the movie previously cast Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah Sanderson, Bette Midler as Winifred Sanderson, Thora Birch as Dani Dennison, and Omri Katz as Max Dennison along with many other talented actors.
So now it has been speculated that the show maker is going to bring back the original cast of Hocus Pocus for its sequel.
Plot
With a budget of 28 million dollars, the movie begins in a small town in the year of 1963, where a boy who tried to stop the witches was turned into an immortal black cat. After 300 years on Halloween, 1993 Max Dennison lits the candles to show off his wannable girlfriend Alison. This also brings the witches back to life. Now that the witches are back they are ready for a fun night of magic and horror.
