Glow Season 4 Hilarious Expectations for Release Date, Latest Update, New [CAST] & Many More

Having escaped the dreaded 3 season Netflix curse, Glow is back for season 4. The gorgeous ladies of wrestling from the 80s will return in the summer of 2020. Alison Brie confirmed the show’s return for one final season.

Expectations From The New Season

The show follows the lives of women who reinvent their lives as the Glorious Ladies of Wrestling(GLOW) in 1980s LA. The show is a montage of ridiculous hairstyles, Emmy-winning stunts and the glamour of the 80s.

Season 3 ended with the group fractured. Carmen left and Sam is off making films with his daughter. Ruth chose acting over Debbie’s offer of a directing job. We expect Season 4 to have a very different feel to the previous seasons. Debbie’s new wrestling TV show on her network will likely allow the wrestlers to take on new personas and face newer challenges.

Producer Liz Flahive said,“We’ve played it this way every season, where we’ve sort of left it all on the field. This show has a big heart and a big cast and big story to tell, and other people are not going to set that limit for us. We can’t do that, because it wouldn’t be fair to what we’re trying to do. We’d love to have the opportunity to give the show a satisfying ending.”

Here’s a teaser for season 4.

The Cast

Alison Brie leads the show as Ruth ‘Zoya the Destroya’ Wilder. Betty Gilpin stars as Debbie while Sydelle Noel (Arrow) plays Cherry ‘Black Magic’ Bang. Marc Maron (Sam Sylvia), Britt Baron (Justine ‘Scab’ Biagi), Gayle Rankin (Sheila ‘the She Wolf’) and Kia Stevens (Tammé ‘The Welfare Queen’) will also return.

What More Is There For The Fans?

Action Figures! And sadly, the last season. It is still better than Netflix’s recent trend of abruptly ending shows. The showrunners had more stories to tell but this is all we get for now. Let’s hope the series finds a spinoff in the future, because we sure do love it!
