Dead To Me Season 2 Hilarious Expectations For Release Date, Latest Update, New [CAST] & Many More.

It’s time to bring in season 2 of a show with an amazing concept, new outlook and perspective. Netflix is all set to launch a sequel to the hit series, ‘Dead to Me’. This falls under the category of what many people consider as ‘dark comedy’. Also, the show stars two very famous names of Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini. Moreover, due to the success and response from season 1, the producers have decided to launch a season 2 for this show.

Cast

Our lead actresses Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini form the crux of the story. Moreover, other characters in the show are played by Max Jenkins, Luke Roessler, Sam McCarthy, Ed Asner, and Brandon Scott.

Apart from these characters, it’s very unlikely to introduce any major character change this late in the series. However, we should not lose hope as there might be a season 3 if the new cast is introduced.

Release Date

Netflix has not confirmed any official date until now. But it seems likely that season 2 will premiere around the summer of 2020. As always, the complete season will be released together. So, binge-watchers, be ready.

Plot

The story will surely continue from where season 1 ended. Netflix ended season 1 on a major cliffhanger, with Jen (Applegate) and Judy (Cardellini) standing over the dead body of Judy’s ex-fiancé Steve (James Marsden). This made Jen seem the one who shot him. However, creator Liz Feldman said that the ending “is not exactly what you think”. So now Netflix has to create a season 2 to kill this cat of curiosity.

Trailer

Netflix has not provided the masses with any first look or trailer. But to jog your memories of the show, here’s a link to the review of the show.

Expectations

Fans have a lot of questions regarding the story. And some of the major ones that remain and need to be answered are ‘Is Jen ‘the culprit’?’. And even if she is or not, what actually happened? If she is not guilty, then who was it? And for that purpose alone (and also because of the overwhelming response from students), Netflix decided to launch a season 2. So hold your horses and activate your brain cells because it’s going to hit soon. So prepare to let your popcorns and soda pop.
