Hocus Pocus 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot And Why Fans Are Worried About It’s Future?

The Sanderson Sisters are back to quench their thirst and fill their hunger. Yes, you heard it right. Disney is finally bringing the second iteration of the famed ’90s child-horror comedy flick, Hocus Pocus.

The previous movie starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson sisters, three witches who are burned at the stake in 17th century Salem. Along with them, we had a teenage boy named Max (Omri Katz) who moves to Salem. There he accidentally lights the Black Flame Candle eventually bringing back the Sandersons from the dead.

Though Disney has taken up this project, after almost 3 decades, the original fans have a lot of questions and uncertainty regarding the movie’s release.

Questions that fans have.

As the original cast is now very old. Also, the actors who played the roles of teenagers are now well into adulthood. So the main question that arises is will we get cameos from these characters and supporting characters.

Apart from this, another issue is about the new threat. What will be the next threat? Will it be the Sanderson Sisters again or someone new.
As the new sequel novel was already released, will the movie plot follow the same story or will the new movie be a fresh reboot?

Fans have a special bond with Max. So maybe the producers will bring back Omri Katz as Max for a small reunion with the new cast. Also, they might expand the original Hocus Pocus universe to include more creatures of mystery.

And finally the biggest question of all. Will the movie have a musical number as most of the Disney movies have?
