Plot

The series, Original Angel (The OA) revolves around Prairie Johnson. A young adopted woman who resurfaces after being missing for seven years.  She, The OA, refuses to tell the FBI and her adoptive parents where she had been and how her eyesight was restored. She further asks for their help to save the other missing people whom she claims she can be rescued only by opening a portal to another dimension.

The second series follows as The OA traverses to another dimension and ends up in San Francisco to continue her search for her former captor Hap and her fellow captives.

Although one thing that the fans are really worried about is that Netflix apparently has been cancelled. The series which previously was mapped for five seasons on Netflix has left the audience with a cliffhanger ending and they really are not very impressed.

Netflix officially stated that the show is cancelled and appreciates Britt Marling and Zal for the outstanding hard work.

Nonetheless, we do hope that the show returns back with another season.
