Dead to Me Season 2 Is It Renewed Or Cancelled; Rumors About Its Future, Upcoming Details About Next Season

Dead To Me, the existential crisis drama is set to return. With the streaming wars heating up, content is king and any show that performs is sure to get airtime. Dead To Me Season 2 is coming in May-June of 2020.

How Sure Are We?

Very. The show was a massive hit. And it was critically acclaimed. We think that makes it a no-brainer to be renewed as Netflix prepares to take on Disney. The dynamic duo on the show have already talked repeatedly of the return. But we went further. Rumours suggest that the show is likely nearing post-production. However, we think that’s a bit of a stretch.

The Details(And The Gossip!)

Fans would definitely see both Jen who is played by Christina Applegate, and Judy played by Linda Cardellini, as the leads, to return to the show. The intrigue surrounding the deaths and secrets held by the duo will likely dominate. Detective Ana Perez is likely to feature more and more as we enter the murky terrain of murder. Is Steve dead? Who killed him? What is Jen hiding?

We think the season will have similar twists and turns. A bait-and-switch would be keeping in character with the show so far. Expect big revelations and more darkness.

“There’s an evening of the score and there’s a rebalancing that will take place and almost, in some ways, a role reversal,” producer Liz Feldman said. “This show will always be a show that explores the dark sides and the light sides of grief, loss, forgiveness and friendship. So suffice to say, there will be more darkness.

We believe that there’s a ton of intrigue and drama still to come from this dramedy. We do hope to see more about the women and their complicated, often fraught, dynamic.

There’s no trailer out yet but we will keep this space updated in case we hear anything more about it. Stay connected for upcoming updates.
