Hardcore horror gaming fan? We have you covered. The sequel of 2015’s Dying Light, survival horror action role-playing game developed by Techland is all set to release Dying Light 2. The game will be released for – PlayStation 4/5, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. Let’s have a look at the gameplay and other attributes of the upcoming action.
Gameplay:
Watching the demo gameplay video released in 2019, it seems like watching an action movie from the first-person perspective. At times, it can be dizzying as the lead character leaps from rooftop to rooftop, then grappling with enemies at close range. The zombie apocalyptic – themed action role-playing game skillfully binds the players with an amazing storyline and world-building. The story tends to reveal itself only when things go wrong.
The story is set in the future, where civilization has entered a new dark age. Infected people turn into flesh-eating zombies, and the survivors can be safe only by staying in the sunlight, or huddle around special ultraviolet bulbs at night.
As seen in the demo, the main character Aiden Caldwell, was able to leap over buildings and swing from point to point, by skill and sometimes by the help of gliders and grappling hook. It appears that though the player’s action, major characters are killed off.
Techland is also planning to refine Dying Light 2 such that it encourages players to play multiplayer mode in the first place. They are planning to introduce tiny gaps in the story which can be cracked only with the help of a second person.
