The movie is speculated to be released by the end of 2020.

The film which was originally released in the United States on July 16, 1993, by Walt Disney Pictures. The original movie received mixed to negative reviews from film critics and its audience, at the time of its release.

The sequel is still in development as a Disney+ exclusive film. With the screenplay written by Jen D’Angelo.

No official trailer for the forthcoming movie has been released yet. Neither there has been any update about the movie cast. This has left the fans immensely curious.

It has been reported that Adam Shankman has struck a deal to direct Hocus Pocus 2 for Disney+.
