The 100 Season 7 Release Date, Cast, Plot, Trailer and Upcoming Details About Next Season

The American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama television series, The 100 premiered on the 19th March 2019. Since then six seasons have been out which has consistently proved its worth in the box office.

The series is loosely adapted from the novel series, The 100 by Kass Morgan. The series revolves around the post-apocalyptic survivors, mainly a group of criminal adolescents.

Sadly, this will be the last outing for The 100. CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed during the network’s 2019 Summer TCA press tour appearance.

Release Date :

The release dates are not out yet since CW has yet to make up its mind on the dates. We expect the confirmation from CW by the end of this year. As the fans have been more eager than ever for the next season, it is most likely to be out in mid-2021.

Cast Details:

Eliza Taylor will be back for The 100 Season 7, presumably along with: Marie Avgeropoulos as Octavia Blake, Bob Morley as Bellamy Blake, Lindsey Morgan as Raven Reyes, and Shannon Kook as Jordan Green.

Shannon Kook was cast as a guest star in the season five finale and became a full-time cast member in season six, so he’ll be back too.

Plot:

The story is based 97 years after the nuclear apocalypse, which wiped out all of the earth. The survivors lived in a space station orbiting the earth, called the Ark. Since three generations of survivors were born in the Ark, it got overpopulated. A group of criminal adolescents were sent to earth to find out its current state. The 100, attempt to survive the harsh surface conditions, battle hostile Grounders and establish communication with the Ark.

Trailer and Upcoming Details:

The trailer/teaser is expected to come with the confirmation of the release dates. The trailer is expected to excite and encourage the fans to come up with interesting theories.

The narrative will follow “a band of survivors on the ground as they learn to cope in a dangerous world while fighting to create a new and better society from the ashes of what came before”.
