PLOT

The plot is set up in the rough inner-city Los Angeles neighbourhood, called Freeridge, where four teens share a strong bond of their friendship. However, as they move into high school, they start facing new challenges, both in their associations and relationships.

PREVIOUS SEASON ENDING EXPLAINED

This season revolves around the squad looking around for Lil’ Ricky so that the Cuchillos doesn’t kill them. Despite all their efforts, the four friends weren’t able to track down Lil’ Ricky in season 3. Then they deice to kill Cuchillos before she kills them. Fortunately, the Santos rival gang, 19th street, murdered Cuchillos. The season ends with the friends being safe and Monse leaving for the boarding school while asking others to stay close.

After that, a plot twist is introduced, cuts for two years later, Monse is now friends with a group of girls at her new school, Ruby and Jasmine are still dating and no longer in touch with Jamal, who is now a part of the school football team. Meanwhile, Spooky has left Santos and has settled with a family, and Cesar has become the leader of Santos.
