The historical drama fiction, Outlander, dropped their 5th season this year in February, and their lovers can’t wait for the makers to release the 6th season. This show is based on the novel, which goes by the same name by Diana Gabaldon. The show first aired on the Starz network in 2014. The season 1 aired in two parts with eight episodes in each one. It follows the story of Claire.
Randall(Caitriona Balfe), a married former world war two nurse who, in 1945, finds herself transported back to Scotland in 1743. There she encounters a charming Highland warrior Jamie Fraser( Sam Heughan) and becomes embroiled in the Jacobite risings.
Season 5 was quite a pain for the viewers as their fans saw their favorite characters suffering. This season had 12 episodes, about 53-90 minutes each.
What Happened in The Last Episode of Season 5?
The season finale “What Dreams May Come,” was quite brutally displayed. Claire is severely raped and beaten by Lionel Brown and his gang, who abducted her from Fraser’s Ridge. Roger and Brianna have now confirmed that Jimmy is able to time travel, but is unknown at this point that they will try again down the line.
Since nobody can be perfect, how a television series will be? This series also follows some loopholes which confuse its fans like Claire Fraser’s inconsistent appearance. In one scene, she is wearing something different and in another something else. Briana’s enchanted cape, standing stones that move location, number of moons were quite big things to notice.
WHAT IS OUTLANDER SEASON 6 ALL ABOUT?
The Starz network has already renewed season 6, and the writers have started working for the script. No official plot details have been announced by the makers yet, but it is expected it will follow Diana Gabaldon’s 6th book, which means the 2005 book “A Breath of Snow and Ashes.” The novel focuses more on the aftermath of season 5, which sees Jamie drown into the American revolution.
