So, Atypical is getting another season, and we couldn’t be happier. There’s so much information to be unveiled. Let’s dive in straight away.
Atypical is a dramedy(drama+comedy) TV series created by Robia Rashid for Netflix. It delves into the life of 18-year-old autistic boy Sam Gardener.
Talking about its previous releases, the first season came out on August 11, 2017, followed by the second and third on Sep’7, 2018, and Nov’1, 2019, respectively. The last season was critically acclaimed, and even the audience accepted it wholeheartedly.
The release date for this season?
In February 2020, the show was renewed for one more season. Seemingly this would be the final season of the show.
The final season is slated for release in 2021, and there would be in total ten episodes. Yay!
It is speculated that most of the cast members will return to reprise their roles as this would be the concluding one. Jennifer Leigh will be back to play the role of Elsa Gardener. Other cast members like Keil Gilchrist, Brigette, Amy Okuda, Michael Rapport, Graham Rogers, Dodani, Jenna, and others are likely to return as well.
What will happen?
Well, the last season was quite a mess, a postive mess as a lot of things happened at the same time.
Towards the end, we found out Paige got an offer to be a nanny for Julia. It would be pretty interesting to see how well this goes.
And yes, Sam and Zahid are roomies now. Very random, but we love to see it.
No, the trailer for season 4 isn’t out yet, but we’ll update you as soon as it comes.
Stay tuned for more.
