COWBOY BEBOP (ANIME)
Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese anime science fiction television series. It originally ran in 1998 and follows the storyline set up in 2071. It has 26 episodes that follow the story of a bounty hunter crew traveling in their spaceship called the “bebop”. It covers many genres. Simplifying its storyline with few genres, I don’t think it would be justified to it.
COWBOY BEBOP LIVE ACTION SEASON 1
Now interestingly, for this anime series fan, there has been announced an American live-action series. Tomorrow studies, a partnership involving Marty Adelstein and Sunrise Inc made this cleared on 6th June
It is going to be re-written by Christopher Yost.
On 27th November 2018, Netflix announced that it will be hosting the streaming of the show.
It was intended to be released in 2020 but its production was closed in October 2019 and delayed by half a year because one of the cast members suffered an injury.
The anticipated release date of the show was pushed further to summer 2021.
HOW THE STORY WOULD GO LIKE IN THE LIVE ACTION?
Though the makers want to stick to the actual Japanese show story, still there would be some changes that would go along with the story. Let’s wait for some more time and wait for the trailer or teaser to make the things clearer.
The cast was announced by the makers which go as:
John Cho as Spike Spiegal, Alex Hassel as Vicious, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, Elena Satine as Julia and Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black.
IS SPIKE SPIEGEL DEAD?
Fans of this anime always argue about whether Spike is dead or alive. While at the end of the show, he offers goodbyes to Jet and Faye, Spike storms the headquarters of the Syndicate and has a final face-off with Vicious. Spike is wounded intensively and Vicious was killed.
After that, Spike is seen walking off and collapsing in the entrance hall.
By that, we can’t jump onto the conclusion that he is dead. Let’s wait and watch in the live-action If its makers make it more clear for us.
WHY COWBOY BEBOP WAS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS OF ALL TIME?
No doubt Cowboy Bebop is one of the best shows ever made. Everyone who has watched it has different reasons for that. The most common reason why fans feel so is that it follows a wide variety of storylines as it proceeds.
Cowboy Bebop draws most heavily from science fiction, westerns, and noir films and its most recurring thematic focal points include adult existential ennui, loneliness, and the difficulties of trying to escape one’s past.
It teaches us how to surpass the hard times of our life more positively and effectively.
