Season 2: Plot
Sydney is a teenager dealing with her family as well as high school complexities. Along with that, she’s also dealing with her sexuality and newly acquired superpowers. The show has been one of the most popular shows on Netflix in 2020. This coming of age comedy-drama is loved by both audience and critics alike.
Season 1 ended on a cliffhanger leaving the fans with a lot of unanswered questions. Therefore, Season 2 is expected to offer an in-depth clarification for the season 1 finale. The second season is likely to pick up after the events of Season 1. Season 1 ended with Sydney killing a man wich lead to mass chaos. The first season 1 did not have a suitable conclusion as such. This has certainly laid down the plot for the second season. There are several questions still left to be answered about Sydney’s father. Her relationship with Dinah is likely to be explored further in-depth in the coming season. We might also see an improvement in the relationship between Syd and her mother following their reconciliation.
With no significant exits in the previous season, a majority of the cast is expected to reprise their role in the coming season. However, Richard Ellis, who plays Brad on the show, won’t be returning for the second season. This is how the expected cast stands:
- Sophia Willis as Sydney
- Wyatt Olef as Stanley
- Sofia Bryant as Dinah
- Kathleen Rose Perkins as Maggie
- Aidan Wojtak-Hissong as Liam
