Virgin River, the American romance-drama web television series. It is based on the novel which goes by the same name by Robyn Carr.
Its first season was premiered on Netflix in December 2019, consisted of 10 episodes and was renewed for the second season with ten episodes.
VIRGIN RIVER SEASON 2
The makers have already made it clear the moment the first season was the release that there is going to be the second season. The show has already been renewed for ten episodes.
Moreover, according to some reports it has been stated that even the shooting for season 2 has completed. The fire started on September 9 and concluded on December 17.
According to the speculations, it seems like it would be dropped on Netflix around Christmas in December. Well, it is not official just a probability. We have to wait for a little for the makers to confirm any date.
Just like every movie is affected by the global coronavirus pandemic, if you feel like it is going to be affected too, then there is good news for you. Since the filming has been completed and necessary deeds have been done and is wrapped up completely.
Most of the cast from the first season will be returning like Martin Henderson, Alexandra Breckenridge, Jenny Cooper, Grayson Maxwell Gurnsey, Benjamin Hollingsworth and Collin Lawrence.
Some new faces are going to be introduced too in the new season. That includes Carmel Amit as Jamie, Keith MacKechnie as Nick, Donald Heng as George, Steve Bacic as Wes, Lane Edwards as Sheriff Duncan and Thomas Nicholson As Leo Cavanagh.
WHERE IS VIRGIN RIVER FILMED?
The first season of the series began its shooting in December 2018 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and ended on March 26, 2019.
The excellent natural locations was indeed a treat for the eyes.
Lots of the filming took place in Snug Cove, a small community on Bowen Island which became the town of Virgin River.
The first scene which shows “welcome to Virgin River” sign, was filmed in Agassiz in Eastern Fraser Valley.
