Singer Mariah Carey has just announced her new album on the way. The name of the album is ‘The Rarities’, Mariah has informed via her Twitter handle. It will release on October 2.
On the announcement on the micro blogging site, Twitter, she dedicated this album to her fans only and said, “It’s to rejoice us, and to cheers for years of clean love and backing. I am so thankful to you.” Fans were cheerful to this announcement and congratulated her in the comment box. Other celebrities too including Singer Jordin Sparks and Choreographer Bryan Tanaka reacted on the post with best wishes. Kristofer Buckle, Carey’s makeup artist also reacted with emojis.
The album will be a collection of 32 songs. Among those, there will be some new ones too. For example, ‘Save the Day’ is a single soundtrack which will feature Lauryn Hill is included in the list.
Apart from fresh ones, a few of the biggest hits Carey has already delivered will also be in the album. ‘Hero’ and ‘Always Be My Baby’ are two of them.
Before this album, Mariah had announced her memoir ‘The Meaning Of Mariah Carey’ to release on 29th September. This is her second book as she had written a book for children in 2015. The name of the book is ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’
Carey is in her 30th year in the music industry. The pop icon made her debut with the album of her own name in the year 1990. Last December (2019), Carey created a record to become the first singer to top Billboard Hot 100 chart in each of four decades. She has earned fame and name on her own. She is a brilliant star and has attained huge heights through her hard work. She also enjoys a huge fan following on social platforms.
