GOT Actor Emilia Clarke Survived Two Fatal Aneurysms, Runs Charity To Help Other

Not many are aware that Emilia Clarke star of the world-renowned show Game of Thrones suffered two life-threatening Aneurysms’ during the shooting of the show.

Aneurysm in simple words is the breakage of the artery. Emilia Clarke has revealed how she suffered from her first aneurysm in 2011 right after they wrapped up filming season one of Game of Thrones. She was 24. She underwent medical treatment in the form of surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Unluckiness followed her as she suffered from another aneurysm just two years after her first. Some days down the lane, she was welcomed with the news that her aneurysm had grown in size, she had to undergo a second surgery to remove it. She recalls her experience and talked about how painful it was. Frequent spells of vomiting weren’t fun either for her.

“It felt like an elastic band was squeezing my brain” this is how she explained her two fatal Aneurysms. Emilia Clarke, a 32-year-old actor is best known for portraying Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO drama Game of Thrones.

Emilia Clarke has now fully recovered and has started a charity called SameYou to acts as a helping hand to people suffering from an aneurysm, brain injuries as well as strokes. Emilia Clark’s road to full recovery wasn’t smooth it was filled with obstacles and moreover immense pain. It with grit and sheer determination that she decided not to succumb to this fatal Aneurysm. She will continue to be an inspiration for millions suffering from brain injuries to not quit but continue persevering and fighting.
