With Disney Plus announcing a Hocus Pocus 2, the sequel to the 1993 classic fans is getting excited. Hocus Pocus 2 was announced by Disney Plus in October 2019 but the unprecedented Pandemic delayed the release. Keep reading to find out more details
Hocus Pocus 2 Release Date
Hocus Pocus 2 will be released around late October early November or in simple terms during Halloween 2021. Even though an official date is yet to be announced it is estimated to be released by October 2021 as the shooting is still in progress and post-production work will hopefully be finished by then. The trailer will be released by Early October soon
Hocus Pocus 2 can be watched on Disney Plus but a subscription fee will be levied. Viewers also have the option to either rent the Film from Vudu, iTunes, Google Play etc. The original is available on Amazon Prime as well as Disney+
Fans are also excited and available for free throughout the premiere month as part of the network’s renowned “31 Nights of Halloween” programme.

Cast
All three Sanderson sisters, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will most probably be the lead of Hocus Pocus 2.Sources reveal that the workaholics’ producer D’Angelo will be scripting the new sequel. Midler who plays one of the Sanderson Sisters stated in an interview that she is thrilled and overjoyed to reprise her role as Winifred Sanderson
Unfortunately Hocus Pocus’s original director Kenny Ortega won’t be returning for the sequel but he is replaced by the renowned Hairspray Director Adam Shankman.
Plot
The original movie Hocus Pocus revolved around 3 witches and their adventures. This brand new Hocus Pocus 2 will open a new chapter in the lives of the witches. The Candle of Black Fame which played a significant role in developing the storyline of the Original will likely make an appearance. Resurrections, witchcraft, drama, as well as some light-hearted comedy, will be the highlight of the new sequel.
