The anime showcases a Thirty Seven Year old office worker Satoru Mikami who lives in Tokyo, having a very monotonous life. While asking out a colleague he gets attacked by an assassin and gets stabbed. While he was unconscious he hears an echo in his mind which is commanding him something but he can’t seem to make out what. After regaining consciousness he finds out he has been reincarnated as a slime in an unknown and different world. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’s manga had won the Bookwalker award back in 2018 and the anime has also seen worldly recognition.

In previous episode, it was seen Youm waking up in the lap of Myulan and jokes to make it into an everyday habit, Myulan makes him remember they promised to practice magic battles with Rommel and the others. She remembers, she is just a mere puppet of Demon Lord Clayman and her heart is still in his control.
Meanwhile, Clayman contacts Myulan and reminds her that he is still in control and she has to do what he says and wait for his next order. Albis the golden serpent informs Benimaru that they’re going into war with Demon Lord Milim and seeks refuge for her people. Following Razen sama’s order three uninvited guests start creating chaos and disturbance among humans and monster population.
Myulan gets her final orders, Grucius confronts Myulan in her Maajin form and Youm wants to help her get out of it and confesses his feelings towards her. She doesn’t want him to get involved in it and there are two barriers created and Benimaru can’t connect with Rimuru.
