The channel has been accused of many things. Fake views, rumors of exploitation, a mother with a criminal record, accusations of parents deceiving their audience and so much more. This makes many believe that there is so much behind the scenes that people don’t know about.

Ryan’s mother Loann taught chemistry before having the channel and his father was an engineer. When Ryan’s World started Loann decided to quit her job but in the beginning, Loann Kaji and Shion Kaji did not appear in the videos. In 2002 Loann has been charged with shoplifting worth 93 dollars. She was charged with a fine and was placed under probation to carry out 40 hours of community services. Along with that, she was also told to participate in an anti-shoplifting program. But she did not do any of this and was sentenced to spend 30 days in jail. Later she decided to become a teacher and got married.
Viewers have shown concern about how the channel is known to post videos every single day. And this can cause pressure for Ryan who is just 9 years old. Although the parents have said in interviews that they try to have Ryan’s comfort first and do not record anything that he can be embarrassed about.
