In the last episode, we saw that the question of friendship was delved into and Young Do asked Da Jeong to be his friend and be by his side. She sends this situation to the radio station anonymously. Young Do still catches her. He reveals that he may have not realized his true feelings and wants to be by her side too. After meeting and asking her about the submission, they get to talk about how rude people can get without not knowing the whole story. Even though she knows she likes him a lot, she is still not going to confess her feelings
Later we see that Ian tells Da-Jeong he will be in Korea for longer, which is why he had left the hotel. The show also teases that there may be a spy in the series through various developments.
Ian orders a drink in the cafe, and when he returns to his table, the spy that we have seen lurk leaves a paper rose on his table. It looks like the same paper rose that Choi Jeong-min gave to Da-Jeong. She sees Ian holding the rose, and she is mortified.
