The story revolves around an 18-year-old high school girl Lim Ju-Kyung. She was born as an average-looking girl, hence she faced a lot of complexities in her life. She shifted to a new place because of all the bullying and harassment. But, this time she decided to give herself a glow-up before entering school. Her makeup gave her life a new different turn with lots of friends, fame, and popularity. She feels like she has everything she needs, but is scared that someday she might be seen without makeup. She falls in love, goes through adventures but everything goes wrong when her classmates bring up her past.
Even though she feels like her life might be torn apart, she stands up more confident than before. She decides to fight her bullies and stand against them. She later decides to pursue being a makeup artist. Fans are waiting for a new season to see how Lim fights against the world.
True Beauty Season 2 Spoilers
Season 1 ends two years ahead of Ju-Kyung and Su-ho’s break up where everyone has graduated from Saebom High School. True Beauty Season 2 is expected to show us what everyone decides to do after high school. Even though we do not have any official spoilers yet, here’s what we think will happen. The love story is expected to move forward as they are not in high school anymore. Characters might be developed and may also find out if Seo-jun’s career takes off successfully.

True Beauty Season 2: Release Date
We have no official announcement yet, for the release of a new season of True Beauty. Even though the first season ended on a good note, we still expect True Beauty Season 2. True Beauty season 1 was released on the 9th of December 2020. With sixteen episodes, it ended on February 4, 2021. And, most likely, Season 2 will release in late 2021.
