The journey to Johto Region in Pokemon 2019 Episode 84 begins with Goh and Satoshi questioning what is going on in the city. They visited with Sakuragi and his employees, who informed them of the strange events. Since the odd happenings, the workers claim they haven’t seen a sunrise. The town’s sky had suddenly become pitch black, and they had no idea what was going on. When the sky is black, Satoshi wonders when they will have breakfast. Sakuragi says in the current Pokemon 2019 episode that he doesn’t know what caused it, but the Pokemon may be suffering.
Satoshi adds that they may have no idea what’s going on, but they want to know what’s causing this never-ending night. They set off to Johto after Sakuragi urged them to go out and explore. Later, Satoshi and Goh arrive in Johto Region, but it is still early morning, and the town is still dark. The two are still perplexed and unsure of what is going on. Citizens are grumbling, and even though it is dark, they are taking their children to school. They came across a senior citizen who was exercising with a Pokemon nearby.

Satoshi welcomes the old man and wishes him a pleasant day. The old man notices that it is morning and informs the two that exercise will not help him feel better. Goh inquires if it is always night here, to which the geezer responds that it has been for the past week. Goh is astonished that they’ve been there for so long, although it’s just been a day where they came from. The geezer notices that the flowers are suffering as a result of the absence of the sun. The trio discussed Yamikarasu’s sulking, and how everyone feels it’s bad luck.

Goh investigated the Yamikarasu and discovered that it is a Darkness Pokemon with an Evil Flying Type. That Pokemon is said to bring bad luck to anyone who sees it late at night. Many people fear and despise Yamikarasu. When Goh saw Yamikarasu, he could tell he wasn’t happy. He asks Yamikarsu if he wants to join him and captures him with Monster Ball. Yamikarsu’s data has been added to the index, which the two are grateful for.
The geezer notices that he is tired and decides to return home, informing the tree Pokemon Usokki that it is time to depart.
Satoshi notices that everyone seemed to be having difficulties. Sarunori and Pikachu like playing with light-emitting flowers. Goh is grateful that Sarunori and Pikachu assisted in the blooming of the flowers. Satoshi is overjoyed to see a shooting star and an unfamiliar girl appear.
The girl speaks with the two about the stars and the strange events that have occurred. The girl admits her name is Kirara, and when she meets Pikachu, she realizes she hasn’t seen her Pokemon in a long time. Kirara discussed her Pokemon Py and claimed that she had transformed into a celebrity.
