Collin Powell, the former US secretary of state has passed away at the age of 84 years. The Powell family announced his death on Facebook and expressed their sadness about his demise. The reason for the death is said is told to be covid complications but the family has confirmed the news of him being fully vaccinated.

This is definitely a sad day for America. The Powell family has thanked the medical staff at Walter Reed National Medical Centre for taking care of Collin Powell and looking after him. They also mentioned that they have lost a loving husband, grandfather and a great American. Collin Powell was not only the former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff but was also an American hero. He became the US secretary of state under the Bush administration.

He is known for his fierceness of speech, his integrity, and his deep respect for our democracy and for also his sincerity towards being a soldier for his country. All these qualities have led him to be a great representative for the people of his country.

Reason for Colin Powell Death

The reason for the demise of the former US secretary of states is told to be covid complications which led to his demise on Monday. He was the first African American along with being the youngest chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

He has received an honour for not only being a great politician but for also being a great human being as well. George W. Bush the former president of America has deceived him as a great man. He also said that Collin was highly respected at home and at abroad as well.

Collin Powell has earned many civilian honours including the presidential medal of freedom, which he received twice. It is said that the American hero has passed away on 18th October 2021 due to covid complication.
