Martha Elizabeth Moxley, a 15-year-old was born in August 1960 in San Fransisco, California. With her family, she moved to Belle Haven. She was good looking, attractive, and popular girl within her friend circle and enjoyed her teenage life. But suddenly an incident happens which creates an impact on everyone. Martha and a few of her friends enjoyed the night but she never return back on 30 October 1975. Her mother, Dorthy who got worried and searched for her daughter.
At around 1 AM, her mother started making phone calls to her friends and desperately searching for her. However, it ended in disaster when they found her body under a pine tree in her backyard. She was badly hit with a golf club that resulted in a skull fracture. The stick of the club shattered into four pieces. Martha was stabbed with the sharp end of one of the sticks and only four pieces were recovered. The authorities thought that Martha died around 10 PM.

After the death of Martha Moxley, an investigation had started. It revealed that the golf club was traced to Martha’s neighbors, the Skakels. Martha was a friend of the Skakel brothers, Thomas and Michael. They belong to a wealthy family related to the Kennedys. Therefore they were the prime suspect in her case. The authorities found out that Martha and two of her friends went to the Skakel house at 9 pm. They both are sitting in the car and listening to music.
However, Martha’s friends reveal that Tommy and Martha were flirting and kissing. Before they left, they saw both of them come close to each other behind a fence. At 10 PM, he was found with Ken Littleton who had moved in just that day. Ken was also a suspect but soon the case was closed and remain unsolved when it was looked at again. Tommy and Michael’s day had hired a team of investigators and they came to know about Sutton Report. For the first time, his son was shown to have lied about his whereabouts on the night of the murder.
However, he was present at the crime scene. He confess that he went to see her and then he masturbated in a tree there. Later, Michael’s classmates revealed that he confessed to his murder while talking to them. In 2000, January Michael was arrested, claimed by the prosecutor that he had killed Martha because he was jealous of Tommy.
