After two years of absence due to the health restrictions imposed by the pandemic, the World Olive Oil Exhibition (WOOE) has opened its doors today in IFEMA Madrid. It has done so with the participation of more than 1,000 companies, 70 from Castilla-La Mancha, and a representation of 40 countries. For two days, Globalcaja, as main sponsor of the WOOE since its first edition, will help the representatives of the Castilian-La Mancha cooperatives and oil mills in the marketing of their products, while advising them on internationalization through their specialists in International Business. An area that in 2021 registered a volume of international business operations of more than 1,250 million euros and more than 160 million in international financing operations. The opening of the fair was attended by the president of Globalcaja, Carlos of the Saw; the vice president, Raphael Torres; the director of Rural Banking, Albert Marcilla; the director of Institutional Relations, Anthony Gonzalez; the territorial director of the entity in Ciudad Real, Miguel Angel Leon; and the head of International Business, Maria Jose Olmeda.
