First images of ‘Avatar: The sense of water’

Through Gavin’s Twitter account we echo the release (or leak) of the first four images of ‘Avatar: The Water Sense‘, the long-awaited first sequel to ‘Avatar‘ to be released in theaters around the known world on December 16, both in 2D and 3D. Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, ‘Avatar: The Water Sense‘ begins by telling the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children), the problems that haunt them, what they have to do to stay safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they suffer. Directed again by James Cameron, also a writer with Josh Friedman and a producer with Jon Landau, the film stars Zoe Saldaa, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi and Kate Winslet. As announced this week, its first trailer will be released exclusively in theaters next May 6, accompanying ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘, and it’s not expected to be available online for at least a week. In addition, to whet the public’s appetite, the studio will re-release a remastered version of the 2009 film in theaters around the world on September 23. ‘Avatar: The Water Sense‘ is a 20th Century Studios, TSG Entertainment and Lightstorm Entertainment production to be distributed worldwide by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
