Enter the heart of darkness. Trailer of ‘Crimes of the Future’, a film by David Cronenberg

Neon presents the official trailer of ‘Crimes of the Future‘, the new movie written and directed by David Cronenberg. The first one he has done since ‘Maps to the Stars’ in 2014, and maybe the last of his entire career. Viggo Mortensen, La Seydoux and Kristen Stewart lead the cast in this tale set in the not-too-distant future where humanity is learning to adapt to its synthetic environment, in a world without pain. This evolution takes humans beyond their natural state and into metamorphosis, altering their biological makeup… Scott Speedman, Welket Bungu, Don McKellar, Tanaya Beatty, Nadia Litz, Yorgos Karamichos, Yorgos Pirpassopoulos, and Lihi Kornowski, the great revelation of Apple’s ‘Losing Alice’, complete the main cast of this production that reunites Cronenberg with some of his most faithful collaborators, such as the production designer Carol Spier or the composer Howard Shore. The film’s gala performance will be in a few days, at the Cannes Festival.
