As reported by Deadline, Kevin Spacey will once again be in front of the cameras to star in a thriller titled ‘Peter Five Eight’. Directed by Michael Zaiko Hall, the actors Rebecca De Mornay, Jet Jandreau and Jake Weber complete the cast of this film that will be offered at the March du Film in Cannes under the motto: “The guilty always pay the price”. The story follows Sam (Jandreau), a seemingly cool and glamorous real estate agent in a small mountain community who is revealed to be a troubled, deranged alcoholic with a dark secret. Spacey will play a strange and charismatic guy who comes out of nowhere at the behest of his powerful and shadowy boss, Mr. Lock. This is not the only project starring the ‘House Of Cards’ star to be presented at Cannes, as Spacey will also be present with a historical drama titled ‘1242 – Gateway To The West’, centered on the grandson of the historical Mongol leader Genghis Khan. Both films are among the first projects for the two-time Oscar winner after he was accused of sexual harassment by multiple people in 2017. To these two projects must be added the Italian film ‘L’uomo Che Disegno Dio’, a drama directed and co-starring Franco Nero for sale through OneTwoThree Media that we told you about a year ago, this being the first film shot by Spacey since his fall from grace. But Spacey is not the only one who arrives at the festival surrounded by controversy, because there we will also have new projects or films starring and/or directed by Roman Polanski, Luc Besson, Johnny Depp, Alec Baldwin or James Franco, among others.
