The sixth season of ‘Black Mirror’ is underway

As reported by Variety, three years after the premiere of the final season of‘BlackMirror’Netflix has begun development on a sixth season of its acclaimed sci-fi anthology drama. At the moment there are no details about the plots of the new season, although the medium advances that the casting has already begun. In addition, we know that the sixth season will have more than three episodes, which will have the premise of having a “more cinematic scope”. Each episode is being developed as a stand-alone film, with Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones producing through their Broke & Bones banner.

‘BlackMirror’ is a British television series created by Charlie Brooker that shows the dark side of life and technology. Regarding the content of the series and the structure, Brooker himself describes it as: “a series where each episode has a different tone, a different setting, even a different reality, but they are all about the way we live now – and how we could be living in 10 minutes if we’re clumsy.” Throughout its five seasons, the series has featured a long list of stars including Daniel Kaluuya, Hayley Atwell, Jon Hamm, Bryce Dallas Howard, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Mackenzie Davis, Sarah Snook, Benedict Wong, Jesse Plemons, Andrea Riseborough, Joe Cole, Letitia Wright, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Scott and Miley Cyrus. Among other accolades, the series has won eight Emmy Awards.
