In the plot we meet Ahn Dae Seong, who has studied for years for the civil service exam without passing it, returns home and becomes an employee of the small shopping mall that his mother has run for years. There is also his girlfriend, police officer Do A Hee. Both women have supported all the steps of Ahn Dae Seong, but his current situation is the straw that breaks the camel’s back, the girlfriend breaks off the relationship and the mother forces him to pay rent for the small room on the roof that he occupies. And that’s where the action begins! Deaths of women begin to happen one after another in the previously quiet neighborhood, where most of them have known each other for years. Thanks to that, we discover that Ahn Dae Seong has a big flaw: he gets in where he is not called and is able to remember even minimal data that sometimes helps you solve situations, but other times, gets you into more trouble. Of course the boy becomes a strong suspect because he spills very specific information. However, there is no definitive evidence against him, so our three protagonists begin to investigate all the possible suspects, from customers to supermarket employees, which causes several misunderstandings but also helps us to know the history of each character. . In the story there is also a little girl who is regularly alone, it seems that she is hiding something important, but she is not able to explain herself, is she afraid of something or someone? Ahn Dae Seong was a hero in his childhood, his courage was recognized by the police, but that incident got him into a more serious problem in adolescence and that is why his mother is tired of his irremediable habit of getting into trouble due to his curiosity. . There was a lot of comedy at the beginning, but as the crimes continue to appear in the following episodes, that was lost and we saw the protagonists chase different clues and suspects each week, which makes the story dynamic and entertaining. And it is until the end where the true criminal reveals himself, he is arrested by Ahn Dae Seong who once again becomes a hero in his neighborhood and we have a happy ending with the message that I already mentioned in the first paragraph: Respect and solidarity . It’s an entertaining story, with mostly unusual characters, just a bit of romance, some comedy, clear messages, and a definite goal that is accomplished at the end of the episodes. There was no time for fillers or leftover characters, in the end, the murderer who remained hidden for most of the chapters, gets what he deserves! The production has in the direction of the PD Lee Eon-hee (» missing ” Y ” The Accidental Detective 2: In Action «). The script is from Han Ji Wan («The Ghost Detective» of 2018 and «SE busca«, 2016). The first mentioned drama bored me and I didn’t watch the second one, but in any case, «The Killer Shopping List»it was much better!!
