The technological challenges of education to debate in the ‘AV Experience Zone’ of ISE

Organized by AVIXA within the framework of the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022 (FIRA de Barcelona, ​​May 10-13) and aimed at professionals from Spanish universities, training schools and private colleges, the 2nd edition of the ‘AV Experience Zone’ has as its Its objective is to bring end customers in Spain closer to the professional audiovisual industry (AV) and integration companies. “The AV Experience Zone education session will be a unique opportunity for professionals in the sector to get closer to the audiovisual industry and see the possibilities that AV technology offers them for their centers, as well as for them to learn the value of audiovisual companies. integration to address AV projects in educational centers”, says Yoav Slimobich, project manager of AVIXA in Spain and Portugal.

The event will take place on May 11 at 12:30 p.m. and will feature different experts from the educational field such as David Riu, director of the Department of Business and Technology at La Salle Campus Barcelona (Universitat Ramon Llull); Javier Palazón, director of EDUCATION 3.0; Eduardo Salayandía, CEO of West Telco and specialist in new technologies; as well as representatives of six Spanish audiovisual integration companies (Sono, Ditec, Tower TBA, Trison, ICAP Global and Unitecnic).

Programming

The education session will open with an opening speech by David Riu (Universitat Ramon Llull), who will address the technological challenges facing the current educational model. Next, Javier Palazón, director of EDUCATION 3.0, will lead a dialogue with representatives and teachers of educational centers about the recent study carried out by Promethean (a company that develops interactive solutions for education), in which nearly a thousand respondents have participated between directors, administrators, teachers and support staff of different types of educational centers. The talk will revolve around the state of technology in education in Spain.

This will be followed by Eduardo Salayandía (West Telco) who will delve, along with other experts, into how technology is perceived in the classroom and its integration into the curricula.

The six Spanish audiovisual integration companies (Sono, Ditec, Tower TBA, Trison, ICAP Global and Unitecnic) present at the conference will talk about the importance of the audiovisual integrator in the education sector as a facilitator and partner in the transformation and digitization of classrooms. Likewise, they will participate in another block dedicated to solutions and new technological trends in the classroom, where topics such as the role of Artificial Intelligence, virtual reality and augmented reality in the educational sector will be addressed, as well as the integration of unified communications in education.
