Their synopsis en: After being used as a drug mule by her horrible mother for years, eighteen-year-old Kyung Da Jun could have been trapped in her old life forever, if a series of unfortunate events during one of her deliveries didn’t get her They would have forced them to flee. Refugee in a small rural town nestled in the heart of the South Korean countryside, Kyung Da Jun finds what could have been the opportunity to start a new life, but fate would not be so kind. Becoming close with Gong Yoon Tak, her friends and brother Gong Yoon Jae, Kim Kook Hee, and Hong Ae Ran shortly after her arrival, Kyung Da Jun cherishes the dream of living out the rest of his adolescence. in relative peace. But when the group discovers a perfectly cultivated marijuana crop field in the middle of the high school garden, everything changes. Unable to resist the urge to use this discovery to his advantage, Kyung Da Jun quickly leads Gong Yoon Tak and his friends into his world of drugs and crime, every boy has a wish and to make it come true, they need money, so come on. their discovery and association the perfect occasion to escape their reality. Although they can overcome a set of difficulties, the first season shows their slow association, acceptance and how they gradually build their friendship. While in the second, the final message is given, no matter how much you are the son of whoever you are, wherever you come from and even if you are young and alone, you have the opportunity to make the decisions that keep you from the path of self-destruction and darkness. . Despite the “noir” and violent plot, the drama has a happy and hopeful ending for the young leads, just as a youth drama should be. It is a realistic story that speaks of not only economic poverty, but also that the human being has the ability to build his own destiny, instead of just resigning himself to the fact that his painful past defines his future. I thought the performances of the youth cast were excellent, although I think that Yoon Chan Young’s greater experience in front of the cameras is remarkable, even so the cast managed to leave me a pleasant impression and a clear message through their stories, each one with its own dramatic charge. Also an excellent job on the direction and the script. It is remarkable that the entire production was able to commit to show great work. Here the adult characters, for the most part, serve to set an example of what you should not become and that your entire future depends on you. Mainly through a character that when she regrets having been so gullible it is too late, she awaits prison, but it is the only way to atone for her faults. Meanwhile, while a mother justifies her mistreatment in her own misfortune and having come from a mother just as violent as her; another woman acts with total selfishness and coldness, her only ambition is power and money without caring about destroying the lives of drug users and their families. The police also did a good job in the end, this time there was no corruption in them. In short, a highly recommended drama with an excellent message. I totally recommend it especially because it exceeded my expectations!! The address is from the PD Jo Yong Ik and the script, the writer Jung Soo Yoonboth collaborated in the two seasons.
