Dave Franco, Ed Harris, Katy O’Brian and Jena Malone will join Kristen Stewart and Anna Baryshnikov leading the cast of ‘Love Lies Bleeding’, the second film by Rose Glass, responsible for ‘Saint Maud’. The film, written by the director herself together with Weronika Tofilska, is a love story fueled by ego, desire and the American dream that revolves around a woman determined to be a bodybuilding champion. Her life is turned upside down when she starts using steroids to get it. Katy O’Brian (‘Z Nation’, ‘Black Lightning’) will be in charge of giving life to this woman, in a production by A24, Film4, Lobo Films and Escape Plan Productions whose shooting will begin this week. In addition to producing it, A24 and Film4 will also handle its financing, with the former, as is customary, managing its worldwide distribution.
