“Tell Me Your Wish” First Posters with Ji Chang Wook

Tell Me Your Wish“, now too “If You Wish Upon Me”, is a drama inspired by a real organization that exists in the Netherlands that fulfills the wishes of terminally ill cancer patients. The drama will focus on the story of a young man who is pushed to the brink by a life full of struggles, goes to a hospice hospital, and joins the staff to fulfill people’s last wishes. As has happened with other productions recently, KBS only provides images, which are not very attractive to me, but not because of who appears in them, but because the videos give me better emotions than a photograph!! But anyway, the crisis reached dramaland, I guess! In any case, prepare the tissue boxes because according to the synopsis, I have a feeling that we are going to suffer and cry!!

Ji Chang Wook He will take on the role of Yoon Gyeo Re, who is barely surviving and clinging to the present without the will and determination to live. He is a “broken adult child” and has gotten into the habit of causing himself pain by getting tattoos all over his body. Yoon Gyeo Re has desperately struggled against the cold reality, going through life in an orphanage, a juvenile detention center, and a prison. The two posters with Yoon Gyeo Re show two completely different atmospheres. The first poster shows Ji Chang Wook transforming into a role he had never played before. Fans of the drama immediately notice the tattoos on her arms, and her expression is empty and blank as if she doesn’t really feel any emotion. The text on the poster reads: “Make wishes come true? Do they pay you to do that?«

The second poster contrasts sharply with the first. Yoon Gyeo Re holds a puppy tightly in her arms and exudes loneliness without a hint of rudeness from before. He is standing on the beach in a pristine suit and his gaze is riveted to the ground.

The production team of the drama commented, “Ji Chang Wook He was perfectly immersed in the character of Yoon Gyeo Re, drawing admiration for his performance at every moment of filming. Please look forward to the drama and see what kind of story Yoon Gyeo Re, who has lost his will to live, has and if he will be able to live a happy life by breaking through the wall. [entre él y] the world. It will be great if you can also carefully watch the acting transformation of Ji Chang Wook”. “Tell Me Your Wish”, will premiere on August 10, 2022 through KBS and probably on Netflix. Fingers crossed for that to happen! There will be 16 episodes, so far in the Drama genre. The direction is in charge of the PD Kim Yongwan of the drama «The Cursed«.
