The Globalcaja Foundation and AJE promote the first entrepreneurship program in rural areas in the province of Albacete

The Globalcaja Foundation and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Albacete (AJE) will develop the first rural entrepreneurship program in the province. under the name ‘Here it starts. Neo-ruralism and entrepreneurship in rural or sparsely populated areas, both entities take a step forward in their strategy to strengthen the ecosystem of companies and entrepreneurs in towns of Albacete. This is an initiative that includes workshops and talks with which it is intended to promote entrepreneurship in rural areas, while promoting professional development and business consolidation. As explained by Herminio Molina, president of the Globalcaja Foundation, “at the entity we believe that entrepreneurship is the key to rural development and population fixation, helping to combat depopulation and facilitating generational change”. For his part, the president of AJE, Alberto Gualda, who thanked the Foundation for the constant support it provides to young entrepreneurs in the province through this and many other initiatives, expressed his conviction that this entrepreneurship program develops with the aim of “promoting repopulation, recovering talent and favoring innovation, managing to strengthen the business ecosystem in the rural environment”.
Committed to the business fabric
The support of the Foundation to which Gualda has referred materializes in the sponsorship of actions such as the 20th Edition of the Albacete Young Entrepreneur awards; the III edition of the AJE Companies Race; the II Business Breakfast Meeting, organized on May 25, and the event held by the Association on its 25th Anniversary, which took place on June 15 in the Fontecha Gardens in Albacete, among other initiatives.
