Fletch revives from the hand of Jon Hamm. Trailer and poster for ‘Confess, Fletch’

Paramount Pictures presents the official trailer and poster for ‘Confess, Fletch‘, a new film inspired by the character created by Gregory McDonald in the 1970s that we know in Spain thanks to the two films that Chevy Chase starred in in the 1980s. Jon Hamm, who has recently announced that he will finally fulfill the dream of his life and Working with Apple in the third season of ‘The Morning Show’, he is now in charge of playing Irwin Maurice Fletcher, better known as Fletch, a nosy investigative journalist and scammer specializing in working undercover. Based on the second of the novels in the saga, ‘Confess, Fletch‘ introduces us to its protagonist having to prove his innocence for a murder that, of course, he has not committed. At the same time, Fletch must find time to search for the art collection that has been stolen from his fiancée. Kyle MacLachlan, Marcia Gay Harden, Lorenza Izzo, John Slattery and Annie Mumolo are also part of the cast of this comedy directed by Greg Mottola, always remembered for being responsible for ‘Superbad’, ‘Adventureland’, ‘Paul’ or the first episode from ‘The Newsroom’. Produced by Miramax, the film will be released in the United States on September 16 simultaneously in theaters and VOD, without us knowing for the moment what will become of it in our country.
