Second preview of the anime Aharen-san wa Hakarenai reveals its premiere

Three New Cast Members Join Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Anime

The official anime website Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, based on Asato Mizu’s romantic comedy manga, shared the series’ second promotional video on Saturday. In addition to revealing three new cast members and letting us hear TrySail’s opening theme song “Hanarenai Kyori,” the video reveals the anime premiere for the first of April. The cast members joining are:
Rika Nagae as Raidō’s little sister

Natsumi Fujiwara as Atsushi, an elementary school boy who adores Aharen

Maria Sashide as Futaba, who sees Aharen as a rival for Atsushi’s affections

The anime will debut on the Animeism programming block on the TBS and MBS channels on April 1, and will later air on the BS-TBS channel. The romantic comedy follows the indecipherable daily life of quiet little Queen Aharen and Raidō, who sits next to her in class. Aharen is not good at gauging the distance between herself and people (or their personal space), and Raidō initially senses some distance between them. But one day, when Raidō picks up the eraser Aharen dropped, the distance between them suddenly becomes uncomfortably close.

Inori Minase plays Reian Aharen while Takuma Terashima plays Raidō. MAO plays Mitsuki Ōshiro, Aharen’s childhood friend. Kana Hanazawa plays Miss Tōharu, the classical literature teacher at Aharen’s school.
