Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone will work together for the third time in ‘AND’

Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone will work together again in ‘AND’, a film written by the Greek director himself together with Efthimis Filippou, a screenwriter with whom he already collaborated on ‘Canino’, ‘Alps’, ‘Locust’ and ‘The Sacrifice of a Sacred Deer’. Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley will complete the main cast of this project of which no plot details have yet emerged. This will be the third collaboration between Lanthimos and Stone, who have previously coincided in ‘The Favourite’, a film that earned them both an Oscar nomination in 2018, and ‘Poor Things’, a film adaptation of ‘Poor Creatures!’ by Alasdair Gray that will be released sometime in 2023. The aforementioned Willem Dafoe and Margaret Qualley are also part of the cast of the latter, a reimagining of the classic Frankenstein story written by Tony McNamara -screenwriter of ‘The Favourite’- in the that we will also see Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef, Jerrod Carmichael or Christopher Abbott, among others.

‘AND’like ‘The Favourite’ and ‘Poor Things’, will be produced by Element Pictures and Film4 Productions and will be distributed worldwide by Searchlight Pictures.
